Meet Susan Bruschi
My name is Susan A. Bruschi and I am running for State Representative of the 143rd District. I was born and raised on Long Island in the state of New York. My husband Charles and I relocated to Wilton, Connecticut in 1993. We have two children, Ally who is a
junior at Wilton High School, and Will, an 8th grader at Middlebrook School.
I want to be your State Representative because I believe that my long history of policy-making, negotiating, and advocating for my constituents has provided me with an excellent background for this position. During my tenure as Second Selectman, Selectman, Chair, Vice-chair, and Secretary of the Board of Education, Chairman of the Republican Women of Wilton, President of the Wilton Woman’s Club, and Membership, Voter Education, and Fundraising Chair for the Wilton League of Women Voters, I have proven to be a tireless, dedicated, and committed public servant which makes me the most qualified candidate to represent the constituents of the 143rd District.
I have been preparing myself and working toward this goal for over a decade. It is now time for me to put my vast experience to work in Hartford for the residents of Norwalk and Wilton. The Republican Town Committees of both Norwalk and Wilton have faithfully given me their support. With their support and yours, I am looking forward to taking on the challenges of this position in order to keep a strong voice in Hartford as a passionate advocate for the issues that concern the 143rd District.
In the current political climate it will take bold energetic leadership to represent the people of our district. I believe that I am the best person to represent you in Hartford. I have the energy, vision, and experience.
